fatfatfat ("we") runs the fatfatfat app. This page says what we keep about you and why.

What we store

  • Your account: email, name, and your Google account id if you sign in with Google.
  • Your body data: height, birth year, sex, weigh-ins, goal and keep band.
  • Food and drink you log, including photos and voice notes you send to be read.
  • Notification settings, push subscriptions and which reminders we sent.
  • Billing state from Stripe: plan status and trial dates. We never see your full card number.

Why

To run the daily weigh-in, the food log, Chonk's verdicts, reminders and billing. Food photos and voice notes are sent to an AI provider only to read them. We do not sell your data or use it for ads.

Who processes it

  • Stripe for payments and the card check.
  • Amazon SES for email.
  • An AI provider (via OpenRouter) to read food photos, text and voice.
  • Your browser's push service for notifications.

Export and delete

Settings → Data lets you export everything as CSV or JSON at any time, with or without a plan. Deleting your account cancels your plan first, then removes your data. Backups roll off within 30 days.

To stop the same card trial being reused, we keep a one-way fingerprint (a keyed hash) of the email address of a deleted account that already had a trial. It cannot be turned back into your address.

Safety

If your data shows a health risk, the app switches to safety mode: no roasts, no sizes, and a check-in email. That decision is made by fixed rules in the app, not by a person.
